I am a recent college graduate and new arrival to the Portland area. I grew up owning and loving dogs, and I have walked and cared for other people’s pets throughout my entire life. As a dog sitter, I provide overnight care in your home, which includes daily walks, feeding, playing, and lots of love and attention. I have experience caring for both young puppies and older dogs, and I am attentive to the particular needs of your pet. I worked for the past 5 months as a dog walker, where I provided regular hikes and transportation for groups of 2-5 dogs, and through this experience I learned how to manage dogs of a variety of breeds, sizes, and temperaments calmly and patiently. I pride myself on the relationships and trust that I build with the dogs that I work with, as I think that it is essential for a pet care providers to get to know the distinctive and unique personalities of the animals that they care for. I love hiking and spending time outdoors, and I would bring this adventurous attitude to all of my dog walks. I am confident that my prior experience combined with my passion for dogs would make me a great sitter/walker for your pup!
