Pet care experience
I currently have a Male Doberman Pinscher whom I walk several times a day. I am familiar with many different breeds (Dachshund, Labradoodle, pit mixes, Dobermans, Cockapoos, King Charles Cavaliers, Aussies) just to name a few.
Reviews
Alicia has taken care my dogs in the past and they always loved staying with her. She looks after their needs and takes them out for walks, and takes special considerations when needed. I highly recommend her!
Alicia puts her heart and soul into dog care. She was raised with dogs and has welcomed her own dog into her family. She’s knowledgeable and takes good care of all dogs she comes in contact with. Alicia is punctual, responsible and kind. She will make a great Rover mom. Beth
About Alicia B.
Skills
Safety, trust & environment
Its important to be consistent with how an animal is disciplined at home and the routine that has been established. It is also important to be consistent with commands that have already been taught. I am open to also teaching commands if a particular dog has not completed any training and I would be more than happy to explain the uses for it.
Information Alicia B. would like to know about your pet
It is important to know the commands that your dog will respond to in order to make sure everyone is safe throughout the stay. It is important to be consistent and knowing any triggers for unwanted behaviors and/or things that might scare the dog.
A typical day
Of course fenced in dog parks are great, walks through the neighborhood, playing with toys such as frisbees and "Chuck it" are always fun, working on commands and behavioral activities, and of course belly rubs and head scratches.
