Pet care experience
I grew up with dogs in my family, and have taken care of them while my parents were out of town. I have also taken care of both of my sisters dogs while they were either out of town, or just at work and needed someone to check on them. I love being able to go on adventures, when my time allows, with a buddy to tag along.

Alice is amazing! I'd highly recommend her to everyone! Besides being super sweet, she genuinely cared for my dog as her own. She is trustworthy, honest, and affordable. She sent pictures of their daily walks and play sessions, she learned his routine so he could feel at home, and she made space for his obnoxiously large crate! My dog had a great time, and I felt safe leaving him in her care. She's wonderful and everyone should book with her.

I live in a fairly quiet neighborhood on a dirt road in a house with a small fenced in back yard. There are a few neighborhood dogs that have in-and-out door access, and bark quite a bit, but it doesn't seem to bother the animals too much. I have a 14 year old cat who is loveable, friendly, and sometimes even playful towards other animals. He is front declawed and I have a 6 year old small/medium lab/hound mix, Riley who is very friendly and easy-going. For new stays, I would prefer at least 5 days advance request, that way we can meet and I will have the chance to get to know both you and your dog to see if we would be a good fit.

I would need to know the energy level. How does your dog walk on a leash. How well does your dog respond to people other than their owners/parents. How well does your dog also respond to other animals. Does your dog experience any form of separation anxiety? Is your dog crate trained? Are there sny possible previous injuries I should be aware of. There are no breed preferences, your dog just MUST be friendly with cats and other dogs.
A typical day
Sometimes I like to walk off the path and take a little detour. There are a few parks and trails in the area that I would like to explore. I enjoy playing tug o war, catch, and if you don't mind, I don't mind if the dog gets into a little mud. When I get home from work, I'm usually working on the yard until the sun goes down or it gets too cold, and Riley is always either running around with me in the front yard, or just hanging out in the back.

Availability
I work weekdays 7AM - 3:30PM in Ann Arbor. On good weather days, I trying to be outdoors and either work on the yard, or just hang out outside, all while my dog is out there with me. On the weekends I like to be able to do some kind of out door activity, especially in the summer, and having the ability to take my dog with him is the icing on top.
