I am fairly certain I haven't lived a day of my life without animals. Even from a young age, I was reaching out to dogs of all sizes and they responded in kind. I've worked with dogs ranging from 3 pounds to over 100. I have sat as few as one cat and as many as 8 dogs. I’ve been working through Rover since 2018 and I’ve had a great time. I’m comfortable with many different walking methods, including using gentle leaders, slip leads, and many types of harnesses. On check-ins, I am happy to take special requests, but will typically start by checking food and water quickly before dedicating the rest of my time to providing play or affection in the amounts the dog seems to want. During sitting, I will spend the bulk of my time in your home with your dog. If your dog has a special routine, like walking to a certain coffee shop each morning or going to a dog park on specific days, I am happy to accomodate. If you are comfortable with your dog going on outings with me during sitting periods, I will spend even more time with them than I otherwise would. Rest assured that your dog would never be left alone on such outings and would be provided with water regularly. At this time, I am not accepting sits of more than 4 days with new clients just to make sure neither I nor your dog end up in an uncomfortable spot if we don’t end up getting along well. In my own home, I have a two year old cat named BBP. She's my first cat after years of living with dogs, chickens, sugar gliders, ducks, and many others, and I've been loving the new experience. However, my cat has a strong dislike of strange dogs and can respond aggressively to them. For this reason, I do not board dogs in my apartment, both for her sake and the sake of your dogs.
