Pet care experience
My goal is to make your time away as stress-free as possible for both you and your pet. I have a flexible remote work schedule allowing me to spend lots of time with your pet. I've owned and cared for pets throughout my life. My experience includes dogs and small animals such as fish, guinea pigs, chickens, and mice. Happy to work with anxious/timid or high energy dogs. I'm comfortable with positive reinforcement training, creative medication administration, crate rest, prescription diets, etc. Corrah, my 3 yr old rescue pup, loves to play with other dogs and has a sweet, submissive personality. Today she's a happy, healthy dog, but together we've journeyed through separation anxiety, orthopedic surgeries, environmental allergies, food sensitivities, and more. I have lots of patience and attentiveness for your pet, and I'll keep you well updated with any concerns that may arise.

AI took my first long trip away from my doggos (pandemic pups!) and I was able to enjoy my time away knowing Alice was taking wonderful care of them. She did a great job keeping me updated through the Rover cards, and was so thoughtful and thorough about her communication before and during my trip. I also needed to make a couple of adjustments with my booking and Alice made that process super easy. I'll definitely be a repeat client - my girls love her! 🙂
Alice did great with our two dogs! We came home to two happy pups & a tidy home. Additionally, this was a bit of a last minute booking due to a previous sitter not being able to make it - Alice was very communicative, was able to set up a meet & greet right away, and eased our worries about finding someone last min. We would definitely book again 😊

Drop-Ins/Walks: If scheduling pet care while you are out of town, I require at least 2 visits per day to ensure your pet receives adequate care. If you would prefer 3-4 shorter drop ins per day, we can discuss booking at my house-sitting rate. If you live over 2 miles away, a small travel charge may apply. House Sitting: I am happy to keep your pets company in your home throughout the day if you provide WiFi access, or I can provide frequent drop ins according to your dog's needs/routine. Unless otherwise discussed, I'll plan on spending the night. Please disclose cameras inside your home and anyone else who may be present during my stay (roommates, contractors, housekeeping, etc). I carry pet care insurance for your peace of mind (additional info upon request). My partner Max (pictured on my banner) is also an experienced dog-sitter and assists me with caring for dogs in our home. In an emergency and with your permission, I trust him to act as my back up for house-sitting/walks. His pet care references are available upon request.

A typical day
Love taking dogs on stimulating walks or hikes with lots of opportunities for sniffing, exploring, and exercise. I'll also keep your dogs company indoors for a more relaxed experience or when the weather isn't cooperating. Every dog is unique and deserves customized playtime for their individual needs. For an additional fee, I'll also bring your pup to your preferred groomer, on hiking adventures, or provide transportation for ad hoc needs.

Availability
I WFH full time with a flexible schedule allowing me to work from your home or walk/check in on your pet at your home as often as every 3-4 hrs. I'll always provide lots of photos and daily updates (or more if requested!).
