Your dog’s home away from home!
Pet care experience
Both my husband and I have grown up with dogs since childhood and we couldn’t be without them! We want you to be able to relax, knowing that your dog will be well taken care of as if they’re our own! We have a calm household with a large garden for them to enjoy and when it’s time for walkies, we live next to a wonderful nature reserve and large field where they can enjoy bountiful walks.
Reviews
I was so pleased to have Alice look after Betty for me. Betty is quite a shy little dog and Alice made her feel really loved and welcome. Rosie, Alice’s little spaniel, was a great friend to Betty. Alice sent me lots of lovely photos of Betty, accompanied by sweet little comments and anecdotes…it was all very reassuring. I hope Alice will be able to look after Betty for me again; feel lucky I found her!
Rosie had a great time with Alice and came home full of beans. She settled in straight away and I was kept updated with lots of photos throughout her stay. I would definitely book again should I need to!
Very highly recommended. Alice has a lovely home, secure garden and made me feel comfortable leaving my dog with her. She sent me lots of pictures and updates while I was away. Thank you so much for looking after her so well!
Alice was a brilliant host and made Ruby very welcome, feel safe and at home away from home.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a safe, fully fenced garden with high brick walls. There is also a door between our hallway and front door so your dog will be kept safe in our lounge if the front door is opened. We have a little Cavalier King Charles who is 6, therefore we love going for walks and exploring new dog-friendly places. In the evenings we’ll snuggle down together on the sofa.

Information Alice D. would like to know about your pet
As our dog is a rescue, we would need another dog that is happy being with other dogs, ideally age 3+. Rosie gets on very well with smaller breeds such as Dachshunds and cavachons.
A typical day
We understand that dogs need both physical and mental stimulation therefore we’ll look to provide a range of different activities throughout the day to ensure they don’t get bored. We love exploring new dog-friendly places both indoors and outdoors which we can all enjoy together. We love going down to the beach or to a local pub or cafe that is dog friendly as well as visiting the woods at the back of our house.

Both my husband and I work from home meaning they’ll always have company. We enjoy going for walks in the local woods such as Belfairs, Hockley and Cherry Orchard and we also love taking them down to the seafront, especially when you can enjoy a nice sunset!
