Pet care experience
I am currently employed at a boarding kennel and cattery so my day to day is filled with feeding, walking and cleaning so i have no problem doing these things for your pets, I have had lots of practice! I have always loved animals and have been surrounded buy them from a young age. we had dogs, cats, rabbits, fish, tortoises and. hedgehog! I know i couldnt stay sane if i didnt have animals in my life! i have looked after many friends and families homes and pets so i have experience with many, many species! I have found that having animals in my everyday life is a must for me, i have such a huge love for animals that even when its cold and wet i still want go for a walk because of the joy it brings to the dog i am currently working at a kennel and cattery, although during the term times its very quiet so through to the beginning of December i have a lot of free time to look after your pets I have a small house with no other pets currently, there is a small fenced back garden which is perfect for little toilet breaks, im based in winchester so there are lots of great walks both in winchester and further out. i have my own car so for more anxious or reactive animals i can take them out somewhere open and empty

I have known Alice for as long as I can remember and in that time we have both loved and cared for many pets. Being our own or others. I have seen Alice provide some of the best attention I have ever seen towards her own pets. Bunny, her hedgehog Pumpkin, Jazzy the cat, Poppy and Archie the dogs to name a few. In her love, care and attention for animals she has provided any in her care to excellent standards. She has built homes, walked, cuddled, fed, trained, bathed, nursed and played in her own enjoyment her whole life. I have seen the continuity of her love out stretch from her own and others pets, to wildlife and stray animals in foreign countries. Whenever I need advice about how to manage to care for an animal I go straight to her. The best thing I can say is she genuinely cares and loves what she does, making everything she does 10 times better than anyone else can try to do.

I'm afraid I count off of services in my own home as I have a dog that's slightly antisocial and I wouldn't like to put any dog in a potentially stressful environment! When I'm sitting at the house I will never leave the house for longer than an hour which is usually just to go to the shops to get some food! I often spend my days at a kitchen table on a sofa with a dog bed next to me, this way you'll pop can feel that they can come as close or stay as far away as they like! I love a good cuddle but won't force any pet into it if they feel uncomfortable. Often first morning/day I try to keep myself "small" so that your animal can investigate me in their home properly this often looks as if I'm ignoring your pet as I want them to feel at ease to investigate me as much as they want and get comfortable with me without me forcing myself into their space. I never, ever mingle any animals be them dogs, cats or hamsters(!) that have not previously met for safety reasons.

i am happy and able to handle special needs in your pet, just let me know when you book what special considerations your dog needs and i can accommodate, i have a very flexible routine so im easily able to tailor my day around any preferences
A typical day
Many the pets that I sit have their own daily routine which I follow I'll ask you as an owner what you do in a typical day and I'll try to mirror it to make sure their walks, feeding etc is at the same time it always is. Animals really thrive on routine and I really noticed that when they're feeling insecure because their owners have gone away; keeping their routine intact can make them feel much more secure. If a routine is not already in place I usually feed once around 8 to 9:00 a.m. and once at around 5pm and do a walk for about an hour or two depending on your dogs independent needs

I'm currently working part-time at a kennel and cattery which give me my rotor we call two in advance therefore I'm able to update my calendar on here! So if you would like to book within a week or 2 of when you're going away by calendar will be up to date :) I'm usually quite wide open having an hour or two a day free however for school holidays and national holidays I would advise getting in touch early advance I get quickly booked up!
