I have had dogs and cats my entire life. Our family currently has 3 dogs (9,7,and 3) and 3 cats (14,11 and 9). I have also previously owned chickens (10 years) and I have experience caring for horses as well. I love all animals and am considered by many of my friends to be a go to person for all the pet questions. Working with animals is my favorite thing so that's what I am pursuing now! House sitting. When I house sit I will spend the majority of my day at your home with your animals. I will take a few hours a day to leave your home and take a break, run errands or have dinner with my family. I have hired many many pet sitters over the years and I have learned from my mistakes and have unfortunately been disappointed more than once. My desire is that you feel nothing but 100% peace of mind and that you know your pets are not alone! I can send you updates as often as you like and I do not have any other employment to compete with my time when I am house sitting for you. I can also take in your mail and water your plants. If you require 24/7 care or have other things you would like we can discuss your needs and I can modify my charges to accomodate those additional requests. If you prefer Drop In visits I will be at your home according to the schedule you request. Drop in visits are 30 minutes long with an option to add on an additional 30 minutes for an hour total. During this time I will feed your pets, take them to potty or scoop their litter, take a short walk IF THEY ARE LOOSE LEASH TRAINED, and/or play with them, pet them and give them love and reassurance. For dog walks ALL DOGS MUST BE LOOSE LEASH TRAINED. I cannot take on clients that have a tendency to pull or bolt. If pulling or bolting occurs your dog will be returned home and future visits will be canceled. I love dogs so much but I cannot risk my physical health and well being for a dog walk. If you need your dog exercised but they are not loose leash trained I encourage you to reach out to me for drop in visits and we can play in your yard or if that is not an option we can discuss transportation to a private dog park for an additional cost. I am comfortable giving medications. Must be loose leash trained if you would like walks out of the yard. (small puppies excepted) I LOVE information! The more you want to write out and explain to me the better. I believe that the best way to meet everyones needs is for great communication to occur. Understanding what is the normal routine and rhythm to your pets day will put us all on the same page and make things as stress free as possible for all involved.
