Pet care experience
Ali & Brian are a married couple who absolutely love dogs! We have both worked with dogs professionally since 2004/2005 as kennel attendants for dog daycare/boarding facilities and as foster parents for various Atlanta-area rescue groups. Brian is currently employed in Atlanta as a veterinary assistant, and has been at his current clinic since 2012. Given our rescue and veterinary experience, we are usually able to care for dogs that have special medical needs or behavioral challenges.

I’m so thankful for finding Ali! I left my 13.5 yr old dog with her, and I joke it was like my dog was on a spa vacation away from my kids (who she loves, but who can be lit…haha). She got hikes, cuddles, and so much love. Ali sent me multiple photos, and my dog always looked happy. I would gladly use her again!
Wonderful people who care for my girls like they’re their own. I wouldn’t want to leave my dogs with anyone else!

We recently moved to a new home in Lilburn. Our new home features a large fenced yard, and is only a few miles from Stone Mountain Park as well as several other parks which provide some lovely, dog-friendly hiking trails. We are also in walking distance of a dog park. We would love the opportunity to watch your dog(s) while you are away, and promise to love and care for them as though they were our own. Since we do have our own senior dog as well as a cat, we are only able to board dogs that are dog- and cat-friendly, with a preference toward other senior dogs that would not overwhelm our own pets. Your dog(s) will be crated when we are not at home for safety reasons, but when we are around they will be given free reign of the house along with our own pets and will sleep on a dog bed in our bedroom overnight.

We have no breed preferences, but since we do have pets of our own it is important that your dog be dog- and cat-friendly in order to board with us. If you are unsure how your dog might behave around other dogs or cats, then we would require a meet-and-greet at our home prior to booking so that we can assess how your dog gets along with our pets. We are also only able to board dogs that have been spayed/neutered (exceptions can be made for puppies under 6 months old.)
A typical day
Aside from playtime at home, we will also take your dog to the park (Stone Mountain Park or Yellow River Park) if you are OK with that, weather permitting.

Availability
Ali works from home Monday through Thursday and we are both off work Friday-Sunday, so boarding dogs will get plenty of potty breaks/play time during the day and would not be left unsupervised for more than a couple of hours at a time during their stay.
