Pet care experience
I have cared for animals nearly all of my life. I grew up riding, showing, and caring for horses. I also have experience caring dogs, cats, guinea pigs, freshwater and saltwater fish. I currently have two adorable pups, Owen and Zeus, who i am the primary caretaker which includes daily walks/runs, grooming, feeding, and general playtime. Owen is a pit lab mix and Zeus is a German Shepard. Size and breed of dog are not an issue for me.

Ali has a great deal of experience walking large and difficult to handle dogs as well as multiple dogs at once. I would trust her with any beloved pooch!

At this time, I will primarily be offering services in client homes as my dogs are pretty territorial. I will be offering drop-in, feeding, playtime, and exercise services. While dogs are my primary focus, I am also a lover of felines, fish, guinea pigs, and horses. I am able to clean stalls and enclosures as well as horse feeding and care while clients are out of town for the weekend.

It is important for me to know if your dog has any special needs, fears, or preferences as well as any medical issues. I want to make sure that our time together is fun and healthy.
A typical day
I think it is important for dogs of all ages and energy level to receive multiple forms of exercise. It not only helps their physical health but helps stimulate them mentally. I love taking my dogs on walks within our neighborhood using different routes so they have knowledge of the lay of the land. We also enjoy taking excursions to the dog park, local parks, and hikes at John Bryan State Park. Play is also an important part of a dog's day. My boys love playing fetch and getting lots of belly rubs.

Availability
I currently work full time as a nurse Monday - Friday from 8AM-4:30 PM and have 4 kids; however, I am looking for pet care opportunities early mornings, evenings, and weekends. I especially love taking dogs on walks as it is a great way to stay active and spend quality time with your pet.
