Pet care experience
I grew up on a small farm and have had many animals, including dogs, my whole life. I am a volunteer dog foster and volunteer at Animal Friends as a dog handler. I am experienced with handling all dogs of all kinds. To everyone I know, I am "the dog person" because dogs are pretty much my favorite thing about life! I enjoy meeting new dogs and spending quality time with them.

Not being from Pittsburgh and finding a dog sitter close to my event was really a blessing. I really appreciated Ali's care for my two cocker spaniels Jack and Jill. Large house, large lot, 5 minutes from downtown Pittsburgh/city center, very convenient and easy to get to.
I have never met someone so in love with animals, especially dogs. Ali is acutely aware of the emotional and physical needs of dogs and very good with them. She is extremely dependable; you can be sure your little buddy will be well taken care of.

I have a yard that has a short fence surrounding it. Dogs who are larger or dogs who are jumpers would be taken out with a leash. I have two small dogs (17 and 19 pounds) so any visiting dogs must be dog friendly.

A typical day
I have enrichment toys and games for dogs like snuffle mats and treat puzzles. I have a small backyard for dogs to play and have a walkable neighborhood to take dogs on walks.

Availability
I currently work from home and so does my boyfriend so someone will always be around with your pup! We are able to take high-energy dogs for walks or play in the yard but can also provide a quiet environment for dogs who are more low-key or anxious.
