First off, I just want to say that I absolutely love animals. I grew up on a farm in rural Illinois and have been around cats and dogs my entire life. I began volunteering at animal shelters during my freshman year of college. Since then, and now that I have a house, I have continued volunteering by fostering adoptable cats and dogs. I mainly foster puppies, so I am very experienced in potty training, teething, etc. We also lost our 14 year old Vizla mix last fall, so I am experience in senior care as well. (She had hip issues and would sometimes fall and/or needed help getting up, had periodic accidents, needed medication, etc.) I am comfortable administering medicine, but will not do injections, and require that your pets are up to date on their vaccinations. I work from home on Mondays, Wednesdays and most Fridays. However, I only work 15 minutes from my house, so I can run home during the day to let them out to go potty. I have two adorable and lazy cats: Figaro and Belle. I have two amazing dogs: Sophi (10 year old Yorkie mix) and Daisy (8 month old Lab mix). I also have a wonderful daughter that helps me play with and take care of our pets. I will make sure your pup (or kitty) feels like home and gets plenty of attention. Our pets are a part of our family and are allowed on our furniture. Your pet will only be crated if necessary, when I am not home (I work from home 3 days/week), or if they are potty training. Our backyard is not fenced in, so I take the dogs for walks to get out their wiggles.
