Pet care experience
I grew up with cats and dogs, and often took care of neighbors pets, so I absolutely love animals. But now I have 2 adorable cats, so I’m of course impartial to cats 😊 whenever I visit friends and family who have cats, I take a bee-line straight to them and spend time playing with them to give them lots of love and attention. I personally have two indoor cats, one that is a year old and another that is six years old, but I’ve taken care of cats at all ages.

Ali is a wonderful caretaker to our three cats! We leave on regular work trips and are so comforted to know that she will be giving them love and attention while we’re away. Plus she follows our instructions exactly and has gone above and beyond for our kitties on multiple occasions. She’s super reliable and you can tell she really cares about our little fur babies. We moved to the area not too long ago and feel so lucky to have found someone like Ali.
Ali is amazing! She takes such good care of our three cats and makes sure they each get special attention every time she visits. We travel regularly for days at a time and she always lets us know if anything seemed out of the ordinary so we can trust she’s really caring for them and not just “popping over.” Ali goes above and beyond for us and the kitties and we’re so happy we found her!
Ali’s exactly the type of person you want as a pet-sitter. She’ll provide the best care when you have to be away from your pet!

Everyone has their own preferences on how they care for their cats(I know from experience when I’ve used rover or family and friends to watch them when we are away). Im extremely detail-oriented and will follow your instructions to a tee, and provide updates and photos while you’re away (because I know how much I absolutely loved that when we’d be away from our cats).

A typical day
I think especially when owners are away from their cats, they might not get as much stimulation as they’re use to. I make sure to get as much play time in as they express interest in, or just simply give them some good pets. Sometimes though it can take time to build that trust, so I base it entirely off their pace.

Availability
I work full time, but from home, so I can often be flexible with timing. If I for some reason have a packed day work-wise, I can come in the morning or after 5/6pm (or both). And on weekends, so long as I don’t have a trip planned, I can make it work on the weekends (though preferably earlier in the day).
