Hi, my name is Alexsa! I have 8 years of professional experience in taking care of animals. However, I have been taking care of neighbors, friends, families and well as my own animals for 15+ years. I have handled dogs sizes from small-large. But I love all animals! I am experienced in handling cats, puppies, and dogs with special care (ex: medications, dieting, handling patience due to abusive past/trauma). I know one of the hardest things to do is find someone trustworthy enough to watch your fur baby while vacationing or just for everyday check ups/potty breaks while you are stuck at work. Trust me.. I’ve been there. It’s a very stressful process. That’s why I decided to join Rover. I want to be that breath of fresh air for someone else!

Alexsa was amazing with our dog Gus! She was able to do drop ins with him on very short notice. She was communicative throughout the day, sending updates and pictures. We are so grateful to have found her on Rover! Gus LOVED her and is looking forward to seeing her again ☺️
This was our first time using Rover and Alexsa made it such a great experience for us. She went above and beyond to make sure we felt comfortable with updates and pictures of Leo every visit! Will book her in the future.
We had a wonderful experience with Hudson's stay with Alexsa! She gave us message and picture updates throughout the days we were gone. It took Hudson and her pup, Moose, some time to get use to each other, but it take long for them to get along, its like they became best buds. Will definitely use her again!
Alexsa was super helpful checking in on my lab during the work week. Super responsive and flexible. Will be booking her again for future needs

Boarding/Drop In Visit: With boarding must be good with small children and crate trained (for night time). I am willing to schedule a meet and great prior to boarding or drop in visits! With drop in visits I understand the importance of comfort and behavior animals can have when being cared for in their own environment/home. Walking: All I request is that your dog is somewhat leash trained. If your fur baby is a puppy I would love to know what commands you are working on with he/she so I can also implement them when walking and keep the training process going! I can not wait to meet your best friend and become their second best friend!

Scheduling: I am at home full time. Therefore, access on base is not a concern when scheduling. I am available mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends.
