Pet care experience
What's unique about my experience with taking care of animals is that I used to care for a sled dog team of over 30 Alaskan Huskies. This was an incredibly labor intensive job and required commitment, discipline, expertise and LOVE in order to give the dogs the best treatment they deserved. I would take 3-5 of those dogs on a run every morning. In addition, I fed them every evening and gave them clean water twice a day with water I hand pumped from the earth. I cleaned their outdoor houses weekly, administered medicine to them monthly, and gave them love and hugs every single day. The best part of that job was getting to know them as individuals and develop special relationships with each of them. The most valuable skill that I have to offer you and your pet is integrity. I show up on time, follow the rules, honor requests and provide the best quality work that I am able to. On top of that I have so much love and compassion to offer everyone--person and animal. Your pet will feel safe and at home with me.

Alexis is a responsible, reliable, kind and caring individual. I’ve known her to always take great care of her cat, Scarlett. She’s the person who became a vegetarian at age 15 after learning how animals are treated in slaughter houses, immediately refusing to eat chicken and beef. If you need a reliable, honest and compassionate person to care for your pets, she’s your gal!
I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my fluffer-pup! Alexis is well organized, she’s an excellent communicator, her attention to detail makes her trustworthy and she never fails to stay five steps ahead. She’s one high-energy, animal-loving son of a gun :)
Alexis has always been great with my baby girl Sheeba. She is very attentive to my dog and I would trust her three times over with my dog. 10/10 recommend

I would like to know how much time they get outside, what type of leash they have, if they tend to pull on walks, how they are around other dogs and if they spend any time off leash in social settings. I would also like to know what their preferences are for fun and what their relationship with treats is like.
A typical day
One of my favorite part of Portland is that it's so green, from parks to fruitful yards and streets. Your dog and I will walk, run, jog and skip through Portland parks and through neighborhoods. As long as it is healthy and enjoyable for your dog, I would love to take them on runs.
