I am so happy I found Alexis! I’ve been using Rover for almost a year and she is the BEST sitter we’ve had hands down! My pup came back so happy and tired from all of the play time and attention he received. She provided daily updates with videos. Can’t say enough about how wonderful my experience was!
We needed a sitter at the last minute for our senior beagle Nemo. Alexis responded quickly to our request, quickly made us feel at ease, and was just all-around terrific to work with. She is fun, thoughtful and patient – and Nemo loved her peanut butter treats! We highly recommend Alexis and will definitely be reaching out to her again when we need a dog sitter in the future.

I have a small dog Khaleesi who has been a foster mother to kittens and puppies. She’s pretty good at giving dogs opportunity to socialize and plenty of play time. Also we live across the street from a park which means plenty of exercise. It should be noted that day care costs is for 7 hrs stays with extended fee beyond that.

Please let me know if your dog is vaccinated, House trained and their feeding schedule. Please share if you’re particular about dog treats they can be given or rules you want them to always follow.
A typical day
There’s a small dog park near me with quite a few regulars during specific times of the day to allow for plenty of socializing and unleashed play. For larger dogs we are also a 25 min walk to the Harlem Meer which allows plenty of exercise and excitement. I also provide sniff mats and genius dog puzzles for some mental stimulation.

Availability
I work remotely a few times a month and so my schedule is quite flexible most days. As a result my dog and I spend lots of time outdoors. I hope to provide the same opportunity for other pet owners who may not have the same freedom with their jobs as I do.
