I work at a veterinary clinic as an approved veterinary assistant. I have a great background in animal care both personally and professionally and have experience taking care of all different breeds and personalities! I am comfortable working with cats and dogs. I do not have as much experience with exotics but would love to gain that experience!

I am most comfortable caring for your pet in their own home where they will also be the most comfortable. I pet sit for friends and family here and there. Working in a veterinary clinic, I first started with the kennel boarding department so I have a good pet sitting work flow to follow to ensure that your fur baby is properly taken care of. I am a firm believer in creating a good relationship with dogs I care for, even if it’s just for a short walk. I have worked with anxious and nervous pets before and am very patient and understanding of them and will go at their pace to ensure they do not feel intimidated by me. I always have my cellphone on me and would be more than happy to send updates throughout the day on your fur baby!

When applicable, please let me know if your pet has behavioral or other health issues. If they are on medication. Any current injuries or procedures that were recently performed. If they are up to date on rabies. If they are good with other pets/people. If I am able to meet your pet prior to caring for them.
A typical day
When watching a dog I would love to spend time going outside with the dogs who have high energy and playing fetch. I do also like to practice commands with them like ‘sit’, ‘stay’, etc. I am also able to do nail trims and baths pending the dogs temperament.

Availability
I currently work full time working a variety of shifts between the hours of 7 am-7 pm. There are days where I have more morning availability and others where I have more afternoon availability, and other days where I have all day availability!
