I volunteer at an animal rescue and have been there since 2019. I've also worked at pet stores, an animal shelter, and a dog boarding and daycare facility. I currently work as a vet assistant at an animal hospital. I have 2 cats of my own that I've adopted in 2016.

Because of the hours I work at my job, I will sometimes have to be away from a pet for 8 hours. I will communicate with pet owners before bookings to make sure their pet will be okay alone for that long.

I have absolutely no breed preferences and am willing to work with any dog (I love them all!). I would like to know any special behaviors, health issues, or rules for the dog before sitting him/her. I would also prefer to know what kinds of activities the dog likes to do, so that I can accommodate for the dog and do whatever it likes to do. :)
A typical day
Activities would depend on the owner/dog's preferences and energy levels. Whatever activities the dog likes to do (fetch, walks, cuddles, etc.), that's what we'll do. We can go on walks through the neighborhood, whatever the owner is comfortable with!

Pet care is pretty much part of my daily routine! I work almost full-time at an animal hospital, and petsitting is a nice side gig to have.
