Hi, I’m Alexis. I’m so excited to start my pet sitting and dog waking journey with Rover. I have had experience with cats, dogs, Guinea pigs, birds, snakes, bearded dragons, tarantulas and fish throughout my life and always made sure they were loved, happy and content. You will often find me having conversations with animals to bond with them. I am very careful and cautious while walking dogs and pay attention to even the smallest details when taking care of animals. I’m naturally outgoing and friendly which helps the animals and I develop trust and my ability to read animals helps develop a quick connection. My number one goal is to make your fur baby happy and help you feel connected to your pets while you’re away through pictures and updates.

I would highly recommend Alexis as a pet sitter. She is friendly, mature, poised, polite, and communicative. She is quick to respond to messages, which is really important to me. She gravitated to our two dogs and two cats immediately, and spent extra time with them on every visit. She could handle a long list of instructions to follow. All of our pets loved her. I’ll definitely be calling her for pet sitting in the future!

Your pet’s safety and well-being are my top priorities. I’m very good at noticing and picking up on the little cues animals give regarding what they like and don’t like. I follow care instructions meticulously and am respectful of my clients’ homes to ensure that they remain exactly as they were when I arrived. I will care for your pets as if they were my own. For example, when opening a front door I’m careful to make sure I don’t open it wide enough that a curious pet could sneak out. When walking a dog, I pay attention to my surroundings and I avoid distractions to ensure I’m fully present with your pet.

I would like to know if they are friendly with other animals. If there nervous about meeting new people and how they are without there owner. If they have any allergy’s or things the parents don’t like so I know not to do as well.
A typical day
I play fetch and go on long walks as well. Dog parks are always a fun outlet to let the dogs energy out and to be able to play with them as well.

I’m available daily and my hours are flexible to meet your needs. I’m hoping to build my pet sitting business to full time. I’m also happy to set up a meet and greet before you complete your booking so you can have the opportunity to meet me and so I can get to know you and your pet/s.
