Pet care experience
I have grown up around animals my whole life. I got my first pet at 7 and have been caring for animals since then. I regularly care for my Aunt’s dogs and her home while she is gone working or out of town.

Alexis was awesome for the long period of drop ins checking in on our cats 2x a day. She was attentive and played with them during the long period of time without us around to help with their separation anxiety. She does a terrific job of following the feeding instructions as laid out. Will definitely rebook for future trips. Feel totally comfortable with her as our sitter!
Alexis took great care of our kittens. I’d happily have her take care of them again.

I feed my pet first thing when I wake up in the morning and after eating dinner. Some nights I work late so I make sure that I feed her right when I get home. I ensure that I keep an eye on the pets at all times to make sure that they are not getting into things they shouldn’t be.

It is important for me to know how a dog reacts to other dogs/people so then I know if I should avoid them. Another important thing to know is if the dog requires any special attention such as medications, grooming, or special diets.
A typical day
I love playing fetch with dogs and taking them on walks. I also love playing tug-o-war with dogs. One of my favorite places to walk dogs is the park by my house. It has many different trails and a big hill to run up and down.

Pet care is a normal part of my daily routine as I have a cat of my own. I also help care for my aunt’s 2 dogs regularly by helping feed them, play with them, and take them on walks.
