Hello, My name is Alexis, 23 years of age and have been a animal lover since I was a kid. I lived in the country were people would drop off their dogs, and I would always make sure they would be fed and hydrated and out of the streets. My love for animals has never went away and when I was 20 I had my first experience working as a Kennel Tech and absolutely loved it! I truly enjoy my jobs working with dogs, they are fun in every way possible. Sure it is lots of cleaning after the pups, but I enjoy cleaning, sanitizing, and staying organized as well! From my previous jobs I have gained lots of knowledge and experience with animal behavior, especially in the play yards! I've watched a group of 20+ dogs to ensure all of them are staying happy and stress free! I am aware that sometimes dogs can get frustrated, but learning to read the signs and escalate the situation can very easily prevent a dog fight! I am very dedicated to my work and I enjoy being able to learn and respect everything about a company. I will be reliable, and very often go above and beyond! I am used to 12 hours shifts, so able to stand on my feet for long periods of time , and also able to stand any type of weather condition. PERSONAL QUALIFATIONS: Over 4 years of paid work with dogs. Receptionist experience Dependable, hard worker (able to stand on feet 12+ hours) Ability to work around stressful situations, noise, odor, and extreme temperatures.
