Pet care experience
I've owned german shorthaired pointers all my life, so I'm constantly around dogs and know that they all have different needs and levels of attention to keep them comfortable while their owners are away. I've stayed overnight to care for pets, , volunteered at shelters, have done daily check ins to let out and play with the animals while the owners were at work, and routine walks. I am currently only working a casual part time job, so my schedule is flexible and I am able to come to you. Communication is important to me, and I'll keep you updated throughout the day about my time spent with your animals, even for short walks and check ins by sending pictures of your pet as well as a detailed description. I like to learn about dogs that I'm watching so that I can do my best to keep them safe, happy, and cared for to my best ability!

Alexis has been walking my dogs for a few months now. They're somewhat difficult, and she handles them so well! She always checks with me to make sure that their goofy behaviors are "normal" and lets me know if there seem to be any issues. She's also always very flexible and can easily accommodate my schedule and changes when they arise.
Alexis is one of the biggest animal lovers that I know. She displays a great amount of patience with even the most ornery dogs, and she will never be seen without a smile on her face. I know she has cared for dogs with disabilities and medicinal needs, and she has always been excited and positive to take care of them and spend time with them. She also has a dog herself, and Alexis takes the best care of her. Her dog is always well-groomed and super happy! I would know, I was her roommate for a year, and we remain close friends still, so I see her and the dog often.
