Pet care experience
My family & I LOVE pets. Growing up, I mostly had cats, but was hired even as a child to assist my neighbors/friends with dogs and cats during vacation. (Sometimes other pet types like rabbits, too.) My husband, kids & I spend a lot of time doting on our cats/dogs/bird. We have enthusiastically helped friends when needed & know it’s a relief to know your pet is in safe hands. Alexis is an animal lover through and through! I have known her for 18 years and during that time she has given the best loving care to numerous of her own pets, and when she has taken care of my animals, I’ve never had a single concern that they weren’t being treated like family.
Alexis is one of the most caring people I know. She dedicates her time caring for her family including her husband, three beautiful daughters, two dogs and a cat. She takes time to ensure they all have everything they need and is very nurturing. Alexis has had many animals that needed special care and she goes the extra mile to make sure that they are taken care of and feel loved. Alexis is very knowledgeable but she also takes the time to research things when necessary to make sure she’s making good decisions. I would highly recommend Alexis!
Alexis did a fantastic job looking after my dogs on our recent getaway. We had regular updates and photos, and our pets came home relaxed and content. The dogs ate well while in her care and were looked after with love, just as if we were home. I can’t recommend Alexis enough!

We can assist in our clients’ homes as we have our own cats, dogs, and *bird*. We have some experience with rabbits, hamsters, gerbils, guinea pigs… and a little bit with fish and turtles. Safety is top priority: We can help with well-trained/friendly, non-aggressive/non-reactive dogs. Dog-walking: They must be able to walk safely on a leash without threatening people/dogs etc. If your dog is a vulnerable/high risk breed, and or the heat is too intense, we will discuss preferences to keep your pet safe especially in the summer heat.

Dogs: We can help with friendly, sociable, non-aggressive (non-reactive) dogs. Meet and Greets are a great way to help your dog know that we are safe and approved to take care of them! Let us know in advance about special care needs, concerns, or requests. I have some experience administering pills *with pill pockets*. I am not currently comfortable administering injectable medications. Let us know if your dog is extra about going after toads or any risks we need to be extra cautious about!
A typical day
Talk to us about a favorite toy/game/activity you’d like us to engage in with your fur baby! I’m glad to engage your pet in a game of fetch or playing with kitty toys for the cats. Tricks for Treats? Cat nip? (Safe!) Chew bones? Doggy pool time? Leash time? Backyard free time (weather permitting)?

I’m a mom of teens + tween. My daughters are all honor students with sitting experience. Sometimes, they accompany me to help dote on the animals. <3 I will ask if that is ok before bringing them. Past/repeat clients: Please leave me a review!
