Pet care experience
I have a huge soft spot for dogs and cats, and they seem to take to me very quickly- especially doggies! Growing up I had a Labrador retriever named Sadie Marie from 2001 until 2014 and I considered her one of my best friends. When I moved out of my parents house in 2010, I took her to my apartment frequently to pet sit and made regular visits to my dads house to see her. I was also a pet co-parent to two chihuahuas for a little over a year. They are now living with a friend's grandma as she had more time to give them the attention they deserved, but they were loyal and sweet to me and my roommate despite being timid around others. They even remember me years later when I go out of state and see them! I am frequently around my dads pit bull, whose energy I adore, and my best friends boxer, who has been my big old buddy for about 7 years or so. Finally, I am the pet parent with my boyfriend to a cute, 2-year-old cat named Scout. She was a stray kitten that we took in and has become our spoiled little furbaby. We plan to get a dog in the future once we have more space and a yard :)

I would like to know the dog's demeanor. I know some dogs are more skittish than others and I think it's important to know this, especially with small dogs, so as to not frighten or overwhelm them. I honestly do not have a particular preference, but small and medium sized dogs are my favorite :)
A typical day
I live in an apartment with little space for a dog, so I would prefer to go to the owner's house. Once there, I would love to take the dog on walks around the neighborhood or to nearby parks. Whatever games the dog enjoys playing (fetch/catch), I would love to do! If they are older and prefer to just hang out and relax, that is great, too. :)
