** My schedule does not align with Rover’s selections for availability. I am typically available 10am-6pm daily except for Saturdays. However I might pop up in your search as available when I’m not. A warning for an imperfect system! Thanks for reading and don’t hesitate to send me a message with a question about my availability!** I'm an enthusiastic dog lover and am hoping to get some quality time snuggles in this winter. I have my own 7lb rescue chihuahua (a very sensitive boy) and also have years of experience with a handful of 100+ lb rottweilers– all with a variety of needs and quirks. I'm an attentive listener and can handle any needs your dogs may have and am unafraid of excitable dogs, not-loose-leash walkers, sloppy kisses, and muddy paws. I live in NE Portland and love to explore parks in the area or just take walks in our beautiful neighborhood. My availability is very open and anticipate being able to accommodate lots this holiday season. Send me a message!

Alexis was so great, she came to meet us before the walk so I could show her around and my pup could meet her. She was easy to communicate with and I’d use her again!
My dogs love Alexis! They want to go wherever she goes. Our family has two young puppies (both under 2 years old) that can't get enough of her. They're both large breeds and we worry about them being too exuberant around new people, but Alexis is incredibly sweet and patient with them. She's their favorite guest. She also knows a ton about care, and I frequently go to her for advice. She's great!
Alexis has watched our pup Vinnie for 5-6 days in a row at a time. Every time we drop him off at her house he runs up to the door, tail wagging in full force and begs to go in! Vinnie is a demanding one-year old, yet when he stays with Alexis he gets the many walks, treats and meals that he needs, and a huge dose of affection. When we pick him up, he's tired out from all the fun he had in her home and backyard. We will definitely call on Alexis to care for Vinnie in the future!

I would love to know if your dog is socialized well and/or has any hang-ups about other dogs (I'm familiar with this having a shy, small dog who is trying to break out of his shell!). Are they comfortable in off leash settings and/or dog parks? Or do they have a tendency to run off? We can certainly avoid or target these scenarios as you see fit!
