Pet care experience
I've taken care of my families dogs and cats every day since I was 10. I also work as a veterinary technician assistant in Wilton, so I have experience handling and taking care of animals of all shapes and sizes. Additionally, I have had plenty of experience handling pets with special needs, illnesses, or behavior issues, and I am patient and loving with each animal as if they were my own. If your pet has any special accommodations, I will do my best to ensure that they are safe, calm, and happy.

Alexis is one of the most incredible pet owners I know. She has helped me out walking my dog when I’m away, and her horse is by far the best groomed animal in the barn at all times. She absolutely loves animals, and her passion is apparent through her work in a vet clinic, volunteering at our local nature center with the goats and chickens, and how much she spoils and loves her own animals. She would be an amazing dog sitter and walker.
Alexis is a phenomenal pet sitter, she has taken amazing care of my pets in the past. She is responsible, organized, flexible, and has a lot of knowledge about animals from her time working in a veterinary clinic. I love all animals, and will do anything to make sure they are comfortable, happy, and healthy while in my care. I know how hard it can be to leave your pet, so I will provide update texts and photos throughout their time in my care. I have a fenced in yard with a fenced in pool. The yard is 2 acres, grassy, and filled with bushes and trees for your pups to explore. They can even indulge in a supervised swim if they so choose. If your pet doesn't feel like playing, they can lounge under an umbrella on the recliner chairs, or inside with clean and comfortable dog beds. I also have two friendly Caviler King Charles Spaniels who are both spayed, vaccinated, and love other pets. If you would prefer to keep your pet(s) separate from mine, they can easily have their own quiet and relaxing space.

Please let me know if your pet has any special needs (illnesses, disabilities, injuries, etc.), and I will accommodate to them. I want to make sure your pet is safe and happy while spending time with me, so I will plan activities for them ahead of time according to their needs.
A typical day
Your pets happiness is very important to me. Have a high energy pup? Let's go for a four mile hike on one of my favorite hiking trails. We can check out all the smells and even meet new friends. Is your pet more laid back? Let's relax by the pool with some snuggles. Please let me know what their favorite activities are, and I will make sure to incorporate them into their day.

Availability
I am currently working part-time, so I have a lot of free time to work with your pet. I am available all day on Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays, and have a flexible schedule on Saturdays. I am also available for early morning or evening check ups on your pet Monday- Wednesday.
