Hi, my name is Lexi! I am fairly new to Rover but not new when it comes to animal care. I am a huge animal lover. I have had dogs since I was very little. I've always been a dog person. I have such a huge amount of love for them. I have volunteered at animal shelters in the past and occasionally dog sit my friends dogs at their homes. I do have 2 dogs of my own- two French Bulldogs. One female; her name is Chloe. And my boy, Remington. They are the absolute light of my life. I have had Chloe since she was 11 weeks old and Remington since he was just about 4 months old. They are my kids. They are really goofy and can get bursts of the zoomies, but are also very chill. We watch a lot of tv together and hang out on the couch. They do love to sleep. I have grown up with dogs my whole life- specifically Boxers and Labs. I love being surrounded by dogs- they bring a copious amount of happiness and such unconditional love I do live in an apartment. I live on the first floor with a locked screened in patio so it is very easy to go in and out for walks and potty breaks. I have a large grassy area in front and to the side of the building for easy access. I would like to recommend a meet and greet for my dogs and yours if staying in my home, just to make sure everyone is comfortable and the pups are good with one another. I will be sending updates to you throughout the duration you’re gone so you know your baby is okay and having a good time, if that is something you wanted during the day! So no worries needed! I also would ideally like to have my dogs stay at your home if I’m at your home dog sitting because I am the only one who cares for my dogs and I obviously wouldn’t like for them to be by themselves. But that is something we can always discuss further. Unfortunately I cannot overnight sit cats; I’m allergic. But I can come feed your cat at your home and spend a little time with him/her. I am just not able to spend an extended amount of time due to allergies. I live in a no flood zone if a Hurricane were to hit. I have no problems with water getting in or any type of destruction happening. So if, god forbid, you need your pup to be housed for a bit and couldn’t take him/her, I can (: Cant wait to meet your pups!!
