I am currently a 25 year old University of Nevada, Las Vegas student who loves working with animals. I am a Biology and Psychology double major with Neuroscience minor in hopes of pursuing a medical career in the future. I have always had a passion for animals. I have regular babysitting experience, and pet care experience through volunteer work. I volunteer regularly at the local shelters and at Petsmart adoption events. I have experienced animal volunteer work with Happy Homes Animal Sanctuary, ASPCA, and other adoption organizations. I have also watched some family friends pets from time to time and most summers growing up. I have owned 3 dogs my entire life growing up and feel dogs and I have a special connection. I am very active, and often go on walks or runs. I would enjoy bringing a furry friend along for fun and exercise if you would like. Some responsibilities I have had experience with include giving medications (oral and shots), giving baths, walking, feeding, cuddling, and of course playing, etc. I believe everyone should be loving, energetic, and caring towards pets. I strongly believe in positive reinforcement. I own a shihpoo, a maltese, and a maltipoo/mini golden doodle mix. I will make sure your pet has the best time. My friends often joke that I am an animal magnet. I will care for and play with them for as long as I can, however you like. If you like I can also have them play with my own dogs if your pet comes to me, or not whatever you prefer. I have recent 2+ year experience with illness in my senior aged dog and know how to care for those babies who need a little extra care and love. I also recently raised my newest puppy from 9 weeks old. In the summer I am available most days, and weekends. I attend school in the fall and spring, but still will have plenty of time to care for you as my schedule is usually very flexible and my classes are usually online! I have been pet sitting for almost 11 years now. Due to a recent move to this platform, it does not show you my repeat client information. I have about 10 repeat clients. I am currently volunteering and working small hours part time while in school, so I have plenty of time to care for your fur baby! If you prefer drop in, I can make multiple stops to your home and keep your baby company while you are away. I can stay in your home overnight too (house sitting service). You can specify how many visits you prefer per day if drop in. I can always stay and play longer to ensure your pet has the best time in my care and won’t feel alone.
