Pet care experience
I’ve grown up with dogs and cats! I have taken care of them since I was a child! I love animals and caring for them. When I was younger I would house sit for neighbors and family, and now I watch my friends’ dogs when they’re out of town!

I can't think of anyone better to care for/walk my dog than Alexis! Dogs instantly sense her kindness and her loving nature, and they snuggle right up to her. She is patient with animals and enjoys "loving on them." The other quality Alexis possesses that makes her great with our pets is that she is trustworthy. If you are looking for someone to dog sit or walk your dog, look no further!
Alexis has been wonderful with my large border-collie mix Tucker. She is very sweet and responsible. Tucker loves spending time with her. I would highly recommend Alexis she is a great communicator, respectful, and is awesome with pets! She and Tucker are practically best friends!

Though I am not currently offering house sitting/boarding, I promise that I will be welcoming, safe, and comfortable for your dog or cat!

Before I walk or check in with your dog or cat, I’d like to know if there are any particular preferences they have. For example, they don’t like to be touched on their head, or they’re deaf in one ear, so it’s better to approach them from the other side. I just want to make sure that your pets feel safe and comfortable around me!
A typical day
Providing enrichment for dogs and cats is so important! Playing with toys, practicing new and old tricks, and even taking different walking paths at every walk is such a great way for your dogs to have fun, stay active, and learn!

I’m an 8th grade language arts teacher, so I’m not working this summer! Unless I have an appointment if something like that, my weekdays are almost entirely open! I can work with your schedule!
