Pet care experience
I’ve been caring for animals since I was very young, starting with our family dog at age 9. We have numerous animals in my family and extended family that I have watched, bathed, trained, and had a space for. I love animals of all kinds (with fur and without) and found most to be very trusting and comfortable with my energy.

This was my first time using rover and I was definitely worried letting someone care for my older dog. Alexis made all my worries disappear! She was great with my dog and kept me updated while I was away. Her care was thorough and my dog really liked her. He was very well cared for, and I will definitely be a returning customer because she made this experience so smooth.

I have two dogs and a cat of my own, all able to be gentle with other animals as well as children and have extra crates, bowls, toys, etc that your pets can play with.

I don’t have a particular preference regarding breeds, but I do ask that you are upfront and honest about any issues your animals may have. I would like to know if they are food or toy aggressive, whether they can handle auditory stimulation from young children, and how they do in their crates. This also includes any necessary medications or allergies.
A typical day
I like to take the dogs for walks, as well as teach them new tricks or reinforce previously trained behavior. I also do mental stimulation, using snuffle mats, treat balls.

Availability
I work part time and am anticipating being a stay at home mom. I’ll have plenty of time to walk, hang out with, and provide the animals with the space and care that they need.
