Pet care experience
I have grown up with dogs and have learned the ins and outs of their care and well-being. My experience with dog sitting comes from aiding both family or friends whenever someone needed a hand as well as raising my own companions like my little corgis Pidge and Dash. I am adept at understanding different breed's needs as well as attention to any and all special care they may require including medications. Walking, running, swimming, hiking, or playing is just as much in our nature as it is in theirs and I take to the challenge of providing it for them gladly. Dogs are more than just your friend, they're a lifelong companion. If there is one thing I always remember: it's that a happy dog makes for a happy life.

Lexi’s first get acquainted visit was great. We have kind of an anxious dog but Lexi made her feel calm. Looking forward to more visits with our new pal!
Alexis did a great job for us. She was spot on with communication, pictures of Lexi (excellent) and the little extra of watering a Marigold pot for us (blooming beautifully).
Alexis is excellent with our pup! Baxter, our 8 month old labradoodle, looks forward to time with Alexis as Baxter knows that she will play with him, pet him, walk him, visit with him, and just show so much love to our baby. Alexis is a smart, trust-worthy, fun young lady and I trust her completely in our home and with our only child (Baxter)! I highly recommend this sweet girl to anyone who wants their dog taken care of in an extra special way!
Alexis is extremely caring and incredibly intelligent. She will do her best to make sure your pet is well loved in your absence. She takes the time to research and understand what care a pet needs and then delivers that care with compassion and respect. I would absolutely trust her with my fur-babies.

I don't currently offer care within my own home at this time - but for my own pups I have a fully fenced backyard with lots of space to run.
Information Alexis F. would like to know about your pet
Dogs of all shapes and sizes are my preference. I like to firsthand know the dog's name, breed, and age so that I can begin learning the dog's nature. Next, I would like to gather information regarding any special care needs to insure that I can properly care for the pet. After establishing all baselines, I tend to see if there is a set schedule the owner has for the dog so that I do not interrupt the pet's natural cycle.
A typical day
I like to explore new areas as well as hang out in familiar ones so that the dog becomes used to all aspects of the outside world. Whether that is social interaction with other people/pets or finding comfort in solitude. If the dog enjoys water we'll find a nice lake or river to walk around. If the dog likes strenuous exercise we'll find a great hiking route. No matter the case I am up for any and all tasks.
