I have always loved dogs ever since I was little. Every year for my birthday, I asked for a dog. On my 17th birthday, I asked my dad to bring my home my favorite candy, Reeses peanut butter cups. I walked in from dinner and saw a tiny puppy (half pitbull, half greyhound) sitting on my couch. My dad said, "surprise, I got you Reeses". I never got my candy, but I did get the best birthday present ever, a puppy! Since I was 17, my mom made sure Reeses was my responsibility. I took him for walks every day at all hours of the day and night, played with at constantly, and cleaned up after all his accidents and puppy messes. Now that I am in NYC, my dog, now 10 years old, stays with my parents and I miss him so much. I would love to care for other dogs, play, cuddle and love them. I will provide dog sitting, which includes taking your dog for a long walk, feeding your dogs, playing with your dogs, and most of all loving your dog :) I work full time at a school in manhattan: my hours are 8am-3pm, however, I am walking distance, so I can come back during my 45 minute lunch break for walks and cuddles. I live with my fiance, who can also take care of dogs. He works 9am-5pm in FiDi, but has the option of working from home. He can take your dog out in the morning, I will take him/her out when I return around 3:10, and any other time after that, unless my fiance is working from home, then there are no time restrictions. COVID 19 update: As of now 2/4/21, we are both working from home, so you’re pup will not be alone at all during the day :) We also are only doing pick ups/drop offs in the West Village area. * we may charge for an extra day if drop off is before 11am and pick up is after 7pm, thanks!
