Pet care experience
Hello! I'm Alexis, and I'm a full time pet sitter here. It's so important to have your pets well taken care of while you are away, and I strive to provide consistency for them in a familiar environment, your home. As I do this full time, and I only take one client at a time, I can spend all day with your pet, minimizing time that they are by themselves. I am happy to take your dog out on a hike or to the park, or just relaxing with them at home, depending on their needs and energy level. I've had dogs most of my life, currently I have a cat that means the world to me. I really have the best job! I love what I do, and I look forward to hearing from you!

Several months ago we booked Alexis for our week long summer vacation. I reached out to her a few weeks ago and never heard back. I messaged her two times and called her. No response. We really hope that she is okay. I am just glad that I reached out to her to confirm, otherwise we would have missed our vacation. I just wanted to give others a heads up...she is not reliable. Meanwhile, we have found another dog sitter...thank goodness.
Alexis is the best! Our pupper is in great hands with her every time she house sits for us.

Alexis is a great sitter. Our fur baby immediately took to her. Alexis has such a calm, chill and relaxed vibe. It made us feel comfortable with her right away. She has great experience with sitting and does it full time, so she was able to spend a lot of time with our pet. We are definitely booking her again! The true test of a great sitter in my opinion is how your dog acts when you return home! Our dog was happy to see us, but instead of following us around the house for the next few hours worrying that we would leave her again, she was calm and restful. She could have cared less that we were back after the initial greetings. I attribute that to her feeling comfortable and not anxious about our return because Alexis was there! Great Experience all around.

I don't have breed preferences, however I like to have a relationship with the dog before, like a sit down meeting with you in your home, so your dog can become more familiar with me and we can discuss his or her needs. I’m comfortable administering medication, I only ask that you leave a note with a description of it, dosage, and times it’s administered
A typical day
I love to take a dog for walks, I normally ask you, the owner, to recommend places in the area. Play time is always fun too, some dogs have so much energy, and will run around all day if they can :) and some will be satisfied with a game of peek-a-boo and cuddles. I try to play with all dogs according to their energy level, and of course will gladly take advice from doggy parents.
