Pet care experience
I worked for family owned and operated animal grooming business from 2012 to 2018 as I finished school. I began work at a Veterinarian Office in 2018 -2019 before I joined the military. Im now employed at an animal shelter full time while working towards my dog training certification. I love all kinds of animals and wildlife.

Alexis did great with our dogs and sent pictures. However we booked for house sitting in our home, yet she only did drop in visits for about 1-2 hours. Sometimes her husband would come in her place but also just do drop in visits for an hour or less. On one occasion she sent someone that was not her or her husband and that us or our dogs had not met before. Sometimes our dogs would go over 4 hours without being let out, when we instructed for them to be let out at least every 4 hours if they were kenneled.

SCHEDULE FOR BOARDING: (spring/summer) MON: work schedule w/ walk and enrichment time @6pm TUES: work schedule WED: Dog park 11-1pm THUR: Cattio/walk. Cats will be welcome to spend time outside however they will most enjoy. Dogs will enjoy time in the yard after cats. FRI: Training. Dogs or cats will spend their time trying to learn a new trick! SAT: kiddie pool party. Only given once a week for cleaning purposes. Weather permitting. SUN: lazy day. Cuddles and movies :) Feeding is done twice a day at 7am and 4pm. On all days, except during the work schedule, the fenced yard will be available to pets. This schedule is a rough estimate of extra activities your pet is likely to enjoy in my care, based off my own pet's care schedule.

A typical day
I enjoy going to the dog park and on hikes! A typical day for your pet would include cuddles, yard time, play dates, and enrichment toys. Sometimes we might even practice a bit of training upon owners approval. I think it is very important for the mental and physical heath of your dog to stay engaged and active.

Availability
I work 4 days a week with lunch breaks. My husband has off 2 of those days, so between us, there are only 2 days no one is home all 12 hours of the day. During those days, I am able to care for my animals before and after work, and during lunch. During these times, animals are let out from 7am-9am and kenneled until lunch. Lunch break is 11-1pm and I am home by 4pm.
