Licensed, insured, caring & profess

Pet care experience

Hello, I am an established/professional dog walker/dog & cat sitter with over 6 years of experience. I can give medications, give insulin shots & subQ fluids. I also volunteered at a cat sanctuary prior to starting my business providing their pets with medication support services. I am honest, trustworthy, dependable, caring and will treat your pets as my own, and if staying in your home, in the same condition in which you left it. I am licensed, insured, bonded, background verified and am certified in Pet CPR and First Aid. I absolutely love working with pets, it is literally the best job in the world. Please give me a call, and let’s talk about caring for your fur-baby!! (I specialize in senior and shy pets)

You only need one word to describe Alexis: AMAZING! Her positive attitude, calm demeanor and genuine compassion makes her the perfect petsitter. Our dog and all our cats loved her, even the shy one. Her receptiveness to our diabetic cat’s needs was truly appreciated and it put our minds at ease. Alexis not only takes care of your furbabies, but she also takes care of their owners. When you’re away, near or far, she sends texts to update you, some that include the cutest photos ever! Alexis is both an animal lover and a friend. You and your animals need Alexis in their lives.

Alexis has taken care of our two cats multiple times. She does a great job and always keeps me informed. She is able to medicate our cat with oral pills without any issues. I hate leaving my cats but knowing she is taking care of them puts me at ease and allows me to enjoy or vacations.

Alexis was my petsitter and dog-walker for years. She cared for my cat Brody and dog Reina. She is so reliable and kind. Brody, my cat, had kidney disease and required daily fluid infusions. When I found out I was so worried I was going to have to board him at the vet whenever I was away, but Alexis didn't even flinch. She administered fluids to him with love whenever I was away, and I knew Brody was stress-free and comfortable at home. It meant the world to me, and probably Brody too, since he hated the vet! Later, when my husband and I first moved in together she also became our go-to walker and sitter for our dog, Reina. She came several times a week to take Reina out midday, and Reina - a typically shy dog - warmed to her immediately and ended up crazy in love with Alexis. Alexis kept an observant eye out for their well-being whenever she came by. She'd turn on the AC or heat if the temperature is uncomfortable, administer medicine if they needed it, text me updates, and let me know if anything seemed different - like a lackluster coat or change in habits. She was my best ally in their care, and I'm so grateful for her responsibility, dedication and big heart. She relocated to a new area and we miss her dearly, but know she'll find new clients that find her indispensable and new pets that absolutely love her!

Information Alexis C. would like to know about your pet

Can your dog walk on a leash without pulling? Has your dog ever bitten anyone? Is your dog ok approaching another dog on a walk?

A typical day

I will usually take a dog (only one household at a time) walking around their own neighborhood - for familiarity, but can take them elsewhere if requested. For an active pet; we will run, jump, play fetch (backyards only) and I will happily love on your best friend, refresh their water, and give treats (if allowed) prior to leaving.
