Pet care experience
Hey, I'm Lexie! I've always loved animals and have almost always had an animal in the home, whether it be a foster animal or a family animal. I've fostered cats and kittens ranging from 1 day old to 15 years old, and have experience giving injections, pills, and medications by syringe. I trained my childhood dog and love helping with puppies, but senior dogs and cats have a special place in my heart. I've been lucky enough that all of my childhood animals lived (and are living) long lives!

Best sitter ever!
Alexis was very sweet and loving with our husky puppy and took lots of great photos. You can tell that she cares because she gave great feedback on how well my dog behaves and gave tips on how he can improve :) and of course she did a great job of tiring out my pup

At your home, I will give your pets all the love and attention they need! I clean litter boxes at least once daily, and more if your kitty needs it. I always ensure that animals remain in the rooms you want them to and double check that doors are closed behind me. For walks and upon your request if the water bowls are not in the entry room, I am happy to make sure they are filled with clean water when I leave. The safety and happiness of your pet is my number one priority.

A typical day
With your go ahead, your pup may enjoy a nice hike well suited to their activity level. We can also go to explore the parks in town, go to the river, or go swim in the lake, with your consent, of course!

Availability
I'm currently working part time with a relatively flexible, but inconsistent schedule. I usually pick up shifts a few days before and change my availability based on that. If my schedule says available, then I am often a great option for same day drop ins or walks.
