Pet care experience
I genuinely love working and playing with animals of all kinds. It would fill me with absolute joy to be able to care for another's companion in the times that they are unable or just need a bit of a helping hand. I had quite a diverse array of pets growing up from the furry kind, the scaly kind and ones with wings, to now my three little bundles of joy, my dogs. They mean the world to me and I can understand how some people just may not have the time or go on vacation and need someone to watch them for however long. Whatever the case may be, I am beyond glad to offer any service needed and to love your furry friends as if they were my own! That is why this job excites me as much as it does, to be able to offer that type of service to another when it is so needed and have a wonderful time doing so! I am more than glad to be able to share my time with those that truly need and appreciate it. I look forward to such a rewarding opportunity!

We were a bit worried about leaving our rambunctious 7 month old puppy for the first time. But Alexis was kind, and caring and followed our advice. Sadie, our puppy was well cared for. Alexis was on time, responsive and gave many updates, with pics, through the day. We would hire her again.
Searching for a house and dog sitter for our high energetic adolescent dog was so nerve wracking, so we couldn’t be more happy and relieved to find Alexis. We had a last-minute schedule change and she was incredibly accommodating. Super communicative the entire time. We came home to a clean home and cared for pup! Would definitely recommend her!
Alexis is very sweet & easy going. She’s on top of any of my requests and her schedule seems to be relatively flexible. My dog has taken to her quickly and I will absolutely be using her services in the future!
We (and our dogs) highly recommend Alexis! Even our more challenging chihuahua loves her. She was on time, sent lots of pictures and updates, and took excellent care of the pups.

I try to stick to the pets' schedules as much as I can and interact with them just as their owners would while they're gone. I know how truly important it is for them to feel comfortable, cared for, and loved! There is no shortage of affection to go around and I always give them the needed time to warm up to me if they are on the shy side.

No preferences when it comes to size or breed! Just some questions I'd love to know beforehand so that I can provide the best service possible: -Do they have any medical conditions or physical restrictions that require medication? If they take medication, how much and at what times? -What portions for food and at what times do they typically eat or get treats? Any diet restrictions? -Do they have any bathroom times or habits, how often should they be let out to use the bathroom? -Are they okay interacting with or passing other dogs and should they be kept on a leash at all times while on walks? -Lastly, I'd like to know any quirks or general temperaments they may have (are they shy, hyper, aggressive, laid back), how much attention they may need, and if they have a favorite spot they liked to be scratched!
A typical day
I love to go to parks or large areas of open space and run around with the dogs, play games and fetch if that's an option. I tend to balance high energy activity and chill time, making sure they get plenty of play in so that they really enjoy their time to rest. Something that I love doing with my dogs is dancing, so you can expect a lot of silly gestures and suave moves. By the end of the day we are always tired and ready for bed, so expect them to have a great night's rest!
