Pet care experience
While most of my pet care experience has been for cats, I’m known for dogs immediately taking to me and I’m always open to pet cuddles. I’ve house sat for dog homes several times over the years and cat sit frequently.

Lexi has watched my cats over the years. I've often felt like they like her more and that she cares for them even better than I do! She's responsible, timely, and especially attentive to the needs of sick/elderly animals. She's one of very few people I trust with my pets and I highly recommend her.
Lexi has been an amazing support for our little family. She treats our cat, Bear, as if he was her own and constantly sends us updates and photos when she watches him. While Bear can of course be left alone, we always notice a marked difference in his stress levels when we return if Lexi watches him vs when she doesn’t. We know he will be loved and snuggled as if it were us and we do appreciate it! Highly recommend Lexi if you are looking for someone as kind and concerned for your furry family members happiness and wellbeing as you are!
Alexis (Lexi) will treat your pets like they're her own! She will go above and beyond to make sure that your pets are comfortable and feel safe and cared for while you're away. I sometimes joke that my cats love her more than me! She takes initiative to handle things and is very communicative so that you feel confident that you can relax knowing that your pets are in good hands.
Lexi is the most genuine and loving pet owner and sitter. Our dog brick loves to cuddle and play whenever she watches him. She is so intentional with her time giving him all her energy and he always comes back so tired. She really treats Brick like he is her own!

While caring for your pet in your home, I strictly follow your instructions and schedule. I allow dogs to be out of their crate as much as possible to make their time without you feel more normal. I’ll play with your pets and show them as much affection as they allow.

Please let me know ahead of time if your animal has special medical needs or has house breaking difficulties. After booking, I also like to know if you have rules about furniture your pets are/aren’t allowed on.
A typical day
I will feed, walk, play, scoop litter, and clean water dishes as needed. I’m very conscious of continuing training and behavioral practices you have in place. I’m very loving towards animals, but I don’t hesitate to be assertive.

I recently moved back here for family and am currently looking for work, so I have flexible availability. I’m hoping this will be an opportunity to get outside and interact with pets while I can’t have one of my own.
