My love for animals started very early on, I was a shy kiddo and animals were much easier for me to befriend than people. This turned in to watching my family’s pets when they traveled, as well as fostering kittens through a program in my home town for a few years. It was so rewarding and I knew that I wanted to work with animals for good. I ended up taking a leap of faith when my husband and I moved to this area in October 2019 and applying to a doggie daycare and the rest is history. I am a team lead currently and extremely passionate about animal safety and enrichment. I plan to one day own my own doggie daycare, but until then, I’d just like to spend time caring for as many furry family members as I can and gaining experience. I have worked with elderly, deaf, blind, paralyzed, anxious, and grumpy (under certain conditions) pups. I think patience and compassion are key when caring for animals and I have those skills in abundance. I’m always looking into resources to gain more knowledge and am so happy and fulfilled. I’m comfortable administering medications (minus injections) and confident in my ability to accommodate even the most high-maintenance feeding instructions (because I’m also a high-maintenance pet mama). Any special requests please just ask! I currently work full time, but with a pretty flexible schedule with a weeks notice. I won’t agree to providing a service I don’t believe I would have time to complete properly, so rest assured that if I am caring for your babies, that it is because I’m capable of doing so to the best of my abilities and it works with my schedule. I am comfortable with cameras/security systems in homes and I can safely transport your pet with my own transportation if need be. I am not a snoop and will respect your privacy and boundaries. I understand that it takes a great amount of trust to allow someone in to your home, and I do not take that trust for granted. I will treat your home and your family with the utmost respect. I am a major note-taker and am used to documenting things like pets eliminations, food intake, medication administration, and any ailments that I may come across. I would be happy to provide photos/videos of my time with your babies and like to keep in touch with parents as much as they see fit.
