Pet care experience
I grew up an animal lover, but it wasn’t until I met Grey did I understand loves true capacity between dog and human. She’s absolutely changed my life and strengthened my desire for nature. Grey is my sister. We show our love through hiking and enjoying the freedom that the vast open spaces offer. We also enjoy rough housing and night time snuggles. I’m here on Rover because I know how much it means to have someone help with your dog who cares, shows them respect, and offers playfulness. Any questions you have, ask away. I am a nurse, so I am available most days of the week. I am interested in helping in a variety of ways. Just message me with what you need and we’ll go from there. I would love to take your dog on a walk, to the dog park to play, or even on a hike if they’ll listen. I have an eight year old female husky named Grey. She’s friendly and will be accompanying us if we go to play at the parks.

Alexis was the absolute perfect fit for our dog Lucas. She was responsive to our requests, and went above and beyond in caring for Lucas. She and her roommate each have their own dog, and in our case that situation worked out very well. Will definitely try and book her in the future.
If I could add a sixth star I would! My eighteen-year-old Siberian Husky responded to Alexis gorgeously; as it is rare for an innate, gentle spirit to come along such as her. To add, she handled my four-year-old Aussie simultaneously; which, between two dogs, have as opposite dispositions and gaits that you can imagine! (Not an easy task.) It’s obvious that I can trust Alexis to enter my home, follow acute instructions, and treat my pups as if they were her own. I feel like I struck gold finding this one, and I’m for-sure continuing to use her for all of my future needs and traveling occasions!
Alexis is a very kind and amazing care giver for animals. She watched my Pomeranian while I was out of town, and I’ve never felt more comfortable with someone way watching my dog! She gave me updates upon request, and her calm, yet knowledgeable demeanor is so reassuring! 10/10 would recommend!
Alexis did a WONDERFUL job with my Pomeranian, Bugg! She was very accommodating to my crazy work schedule as well. She left great notes and some cute pics after every visit. She even took note that I mentioned how much Bugg loves this certain dog park and ended up taking her there. She is immediately available when I need to get in touch with her. I travel a lot, so I will continue to rely on her and it takes a lot of stress off my shoulders. Thanks so much Alexis!

I would like to know if your dog is potty trained, how they do when meeting other dogs while on a leash, if they have experience hiking, if they’re ok to go to the dog park, their likes and dislikes, and any other major concerns that I need to be aware of to keep every situation safe.
A typical day
If your dog stays with me, they’ll get a minimum of three walks a day. Everyday I have a goal to take my girl Grey to the park (she’s a husky with lots of energy to burn). I switch between a handful of parks, here’s a small list of my favorite spots: Hoover, Alum Creek, Dillion, and Black Hand Gorge, etc. If you’re comfortable, I would love to take your loved one with us.
