Pet care experience
Dogs have always been so beautiful to me: the sweetest most loyal domesticated animals that deserve nothing but love and care. My family and I have had pets for as long as I can remember! While my family only ever owned smaller breed dogs growing up, we adopted a German Rottweiler from a family who wasn't able to keep him any longer about six years ago and he is the definition of a gentle giant. Our extended families always had dogs and they were my favorite part of family gatherings! I have two beautiful cats, Parsley and Canada, who are going on two years old and love doing their own thing together! I also have a sweet teen pup who I adopted from a shelter in Bakersfield named Moose (he's still getting used to giving my cats some space)! Loving and caring for these animals has helped me mature, adopt new lifestyle choices, and realize that all kinds of life is truly precious. Patience and love is key when taking care and dealing with animals and my fur babies are a huge part of who I am today.

I absolutely LOVE Alexia and how well she treated my pups. They are senior so they can be a little harder to babysit and she did an impeccable job and I didn’t once worry while I was away! She updated me daily on their meds, activity, and eating. I can’t wait to continue to use her. When we picked up the dogs they even tried going back inside her house because they had so much fun! Adorable. Highly recommend Alexia!!

I have two antisocial cats and a super friendly puppy who would be helping me take care of a new furry friend! If special needs are requested or they're not as friendly with other animals, my home has a front and back yard and three bedrooms which would work well with separating and giving each their own space! I prefer to keep pets inside the home and don't mind cleaning up messes and having multiple potty breaks. I like to have meal schedules for my pets and give treats throughout the day when good behavior is caught!

If there are any medical/special details that a dog needs I would like to know about them for in case of any emergency that comes about. Also, if there are any special games or activities that the dog is accustomed to that the owner personally does with them, I would be ecstatic to learn, as to make the visit/walk most comfortable for the sweet dog!
A typical day
I love running with my dogs in open fields back home! I know dogs adore large spaces with curious smells, so I'd take them to every park in the city, including the beautiful little dog park on R street in Merced! Anywhere that is a large sweet place for dogs to run around freely and play! If the dog knows how to fetch, I have lots of tennis balls for starters! Tug of war, playing with bubbles or water balloons, and even giving fun squeeky toys to keep them occupied!

Availability
I am currently a full time online student which means I am home all day! My partner works a full time job and we work together to make sure our fur babies are being taken care of around the clock! My cats like doing their own thing and have some half supervised outside time early in the morning and in the evening before it gets too dark (they're responsible about staying close and coming back in for lunch and dinner)! My puppy is my homie! He's with me all the time from morning runs to napping inside while I get some homework done!
