Pet care experience
Hello! And welcome to my Rover profile. I started pet sitting for friends/family as favor and because I love dogs but wasn't in a position financially to have one of my own. I would always tell the families I've dog sat for that I would watch their fur babies for free but they always insisted that they pay me. I also babysit, so I often babysit for families who have pets as well. I believe you should consider me for your pet care needs because I am responsible, respectful, and I have a flexible schedule. Well theres so much to say about Alexia,shes a caring,wonderful person who has so much to offer anyone who meets her. The love of caring for people is the same love that transfers to our four legged friends which she will definitely make a priority. She will take the time to properly care for your furry loved one and be able to give proper meds if needed and prepare any kind of special food/diet that is needed and she loves walks☺ So if you need an animal lover who will give your furry loved ones the same nurturing love that you give them everyday look no further for you have indeed found her. For me to provide the best possible care for your pets, I would need to know: How does your pet respond/interact with strangers? Is your pet kid friendly? Has your pet ever bitten anyone? If so, please explain what happened and is this something I should worry about? Does your pet have any undiagnosed/diagnosed health problems? What is your pet's diet? What is your pet's favorite toy(s). Would you like to receive regular updates (texts/pictures) during my visits/stays with your pet(s)?
A typical day
I prefer to take the dogs I care for on walks to places they are familiar with, but am happy to explore new trails/dog parks with them. I'm pretty active in my day to day life so being on my feet is not a problem. There is a lake and park in my hometown, Montevallo, that are very dog friendly and I am familiar with the popular areas for dog walking in Tuscaloosa as well. However, I consider myself pretty resourceful so finding someplace for your pet to let out some energy will not be difficult.
