Hello! Thank you for taking the time to read my petsitting profile. A little bit about me - I am a compassionate and knowledgeable veterinary technician with over 5 years of experience in general, specialty, and shelter medicine. Shelter medicine is my passion and one day I hope to have a rescue of my own!! I love all animals so much (cats, dogs, pocket pets, the list is never-ending) and have been taking care of them for almost all of my life. I am capable of administering oral and injectable medications and caring for special needs animals. I live in a house with a large fenced in yard with plenty of space for your pup to run and play. I would love to take your dog on fun walks, play games with them and share lots of cuddles. I would absolutely love to be your pets best friend, am I the sitter for you?

What a gem! ? My dog, Maisy, and I were so lucky to find Alexia! Maisy is a toy sized dog with some allergy issues and needs a little extra love and care. Alexia had no issue helping with her treatments and precautions, her experience as a vet tech is priceless and her passion for working with animals is evident. I have always been afraid to leave her with her medical issues and size but Alexia makes us both at ease and Maisy is always excited to go with her! She keeps in close contact and is very flexible on pick up and drop off!
Oh my--Albi had such a great weekend with Alexia! He was so happy and well cared for when I picked him up. He didn't know who to lick more--me or Alexia. She paid attention to his need to move and be social. She welcomed him in even though she has cats, and he is a high energy boy always looking to play--not necessarily what cats want at their house! She was also very flexible as my drop off time fluctuated. She was perfect for him. In the past I have left him at boarding places, but he really is a social boy and loves his human contact, so Alexia provided the perfect place for him to get the loving that feeds his soul. I would absolutely use her again and refer anyone to her!
Alexia is the absolute best!! I’m always nervous about traveling when I have to leave my pup behind, but Alexia has been an angel that completely eases my mind. My pup clearly loves her and we adore her too! She sends thoughtful updates and pictures and I can tell she’s super attentive to my pup’s needs. She’s been dependable, responsive, and such a pleasure to work with. I recommend her 100 percent and am so glad we found her!!

A typical day
We will go on walks around the neighborhood, take fun trips to some of the various dog parks around Gainesville, and maybe even hike some nature trails! We can play fetch, tug-o-war and whatever other fun games your pet likes to play.
