I have been an avid dog lover since I was just a little kid. I have taken care of many animals from the age of 10 to now. I have previous experience managing House of Hounds here in Boise. I really take pride in my quality of care for your doggies and can provide many references if needed. Backyard Bark Spaw isn’t just any dog daycare/ boarding facility. It is from my home so your dog feels more at home while away from home. No brick walls, no glass kennels, no wire kennels (unless you prefer a crate), and most importantly I will be there through the night with your dog making sure your bestfriend is comfortable and safe throughout their stay.

My goal is to make your furfriend feel right at home from the start! Your dog is welcome to roam around and find a place where they feel the most comfortable. I have many couches, a twin bed, dog cots, and dog beds for your pup to make themselves comfortable anywhere around the house. If your dog is allowed on furniture at your house, it is the same for mine! I have a very large fenced back yard and plan to install turf within the next month or so! (: I have watched groups of 30-60 dogs at a time With no issues. Your dog will be safe, socialized, and have plenty of one on one human time as I only allow up to 10 dogs for daycare. Of your dog is boarding your dog(s) will be the only dogs other than my two pups staying with us to ensure they get the most out of their stay! We hope your bestfriend becomes a part of our pack!

Please let me know if your dog has any food allergies, takes any medications, has any sensitivities or is reactive to anything. (Sounds, strangers, men, small dogs, etc.) also let me know if your dog gets along with other dogs and has ever been in any type of altercation.
A typical day
At the Backyard Bark Spaw we start our daycare days sniffing around and finding a spot to mark our own! Once we get that out of the way we like to play tag and zoom around the backyard!! After a few hours of playing we start to see our energy crash a bit but don’t worry there’s plenty of cots to get cozy on! Once the heat starts kicking in we go inside for a sunshine break and nap time. Depending on how many doggies we have we do art pawjects for our parents or go to the Starbucks drive through for some pup cups! Of course we get permission first.

Availability
I have decided to do dog daycare and sleepovers from home on July 13th and I don’t think I will ever stop. For now, as I am just getting started, I am working part time Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday at a diy dog wash about 10 minutes away from home. While I am away your dog will have the living room to make themselves at home while being supervised by my indoor camera. I check in frequently while I am at work. On Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays I am here all day long with your doggy hanging out in the backyard with all our daycare friends! Your dog is socialized with well behaved dogs and never left unsupervised during daycare hours. When it gets too hot out we go inside for our sunshine break! Most dogs will just lie right down and take a nap until we are refreshed and reenergized and ready to get back out in the yard!
