This was my first time ever boarding my two cats and my first time leaving them for a period of time longer than three days since I adopted them, so I was a nervous wreck (a crying both before AND after drop-off sort of nervous wreck). Additionally, both of my cats are not very used to people, since they lived in an isolated house during the pandemic while being fostered and even now I don't have many guests over. I cannot describe the sense of relief I felt when I saw that Alexia had experience working with and boarding cats, and from start to finish during the boarding process she was a pleasure to communicate with; all of her messages and responses were quick, clear, and helpful. Also, despite being a nervous wreck, I somehow managed to FORGET TO PACK FOOD FOR MY CATS. Alexia was incredibly understanding and gracious about my screw-up and worked with me to order my cats' regular food, while feeding them her own cat's food in the interim, which was incredibly kind of her. While I was off on vacation, Alexia was wonderful about letting my cats open up at their own pace and about sending updates; I didn't have to worry about them at all (although I did miss them a lot!), which made the vacation relaxing rather than stressful. After only a half hour at home my cats were completely back to their normal behavior despite being slightly shy critters who have never been away from home this long, which I hope captures how great Alexia is with cats. I know this review has gotten very long, but I'm very grateful to Alexia for providing a great first-time sitting experience; I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a kind and experienced person to look after their pets.
