Hey Guys! *Important: I do not have a doggie! Triscuit (listed on my profile) lives in Southern California and is on here in case I need to arrange dog care for my parents. She will not be a factor on any sit* My name is Alexia. I recently moved to Washington. I fell in love with it when I was hiking the PCT last summer. I can't wait to get your dog out on a hike, or even a neighborhood walk if their range is a little more limited. We have always had dogs in my family and in my life. I had my first dog-walking job at the age of 11 years old, and have been hooked ever since! My availability will vary on certain days, but rest assured- If I accept a job, I can commit myself to your fur-baby and all their needs! Alexia was such a great sitter for our energetic German Shepherd, Maya. She took Maya on lots of long walks, giving her plenty of exercise, and spending lots of quality time with her! She kept us well updated throughout our trip so we knew we didn’t have to worry about her while we were gone. She left our house super clean too which was so nice for when we got back! We’d love to have Alexia sit Maya again for our next trip!
It’s always a little nerve-wracking when leaving our dogs with a new sitter but Alexia put our minds at ease right away. She is very easy to talk to and clearly loves animals. She was patient with our little man who can be skeptical of new people, but before long he was smitten with her. We came home to a clean house and happy dogs, and we will definitely book Alexia again in the future!
Alexia did a great job sitting our dog! This was the first time I’ve gone away and felt totally at ease, knowing my baby was in good hands. She communicated with us daily and sent photos. She followed the instructions I left and gave my little girl lots of love and affection. I would definitely hire her again if she’s available and willing. Would give 10 stars if I could!!

I like to be aware of the potential escape routes your pet likes to use. I'm a big fan of baby gates and garage entry...especially if your pet is a runner! It's also important for me to know who else has access to the house/backyard while I'm there- ex) cleaning staff, gardeners, etc. to make sure that your baby is secure in the house during the times they are there.

Of course I would like to be aware of any special medications, dietary restrictions or preferences your pup has. No, I don't have any breed preferences. All puppies are created equal! :)
A typical day
I would love to take them on the local trails! If that's a bit too far, the dog park (if they play well with others) or local park would be just as fun! I have also taken care of very old, very good boys who couldn't walk far but LOVED their strollers...SO- Either way, we are getting our steps in :)
