First thing I'll say is, in general, Rover was not something I had much optimism about. With that said, I am gratfeul that I went on my trip and came back with my cats in one piece. I thought the sitter was friendly and took great pictures of my cats. The things i struggled with was communication. The first day I didnt hear from the sitter until close to noon when I requested for her to start at 7:30am. There also was an entire 24 day on my trip I didnt get any updates. I also had to continually ask for updates every day and would get them mostly in the evening. When I came home, my home smelled like the litter was never changed (this could be due to varying factors). To top it off no treats were given to my cats once. Overall, as I said, my cats were in one piece and I am grateful. But i chose this person becuase of the years of experience and it felt like that might have been misleading a bit in hindsight. Leaving constructive criticism is never easy or comfortable, and I hope this person continues to get gigs, but it should be noted that the service was not on par with what was requested. Respectfully,
