Pet care experience
I’m alexee! I’ve always loved being around animals. I’ve always owned cats at home! I know how to read their emotions and provide the best care for your fur babies! I’ve always watched and walked numerous dogs! I’ve worked with small dogs such as chihuahuas, terriers, and pugs. I’ve worked with bigs dogs too such as pit bulls, boxers, labs, and Rottweilers. I love giving dogs the best care because they deserve it! They are such sweet loving animals who just want to have fun! My husband grew up with multiple cats and dogs throughout his life. Since we've been married we've adopted a pug, boo, and a pitty, Django! I was formerly a TSO at PDX. We had to screen a ton of different animals through airport security. I’ve had many experiences there in soothing the animals and making sure they are safely and comfortably brought thru. I’ve also dealt with many service dogs and dogs with special needs while working at PDX. I know that I will give your pet the best experience and they will be as happy as a clam the whole time we are hanging out! 😁

Alexee is caring, gives great updates, follows care instructions, and communicates very well. The fact that she actually read our dog profile before meeting was impressive, since many Rover sitters/walkers in our experience seem not to bother (unfortunately). Also, while we were away, our dog had some unanticipated diarrhea and behavior issues on walks, and Alexee was quick to let us know her observations and heed advice for next steps. She also helped us out in a pinch by scheduling a last minute booking, when were unable to return to our animals in time. Isn’t this exactly the sort of thing that Rover is for? We highly recommend Alexee to anyone, and are looking forward to booking her again.
Alexee was so good with Ollie! She was great about checking in on the app and taking pictures which is always so comforting, especially when gone for a week. Highly recommend!

I will take the best care of your pets in their home! I do allow animals on the couch, please let me know if you'd like them to not be on furniture! We have lots of toys, and treats for the kiddos! On walks i will let the dog lead the way on the walk, going where they are curious. Of course always doing things safely, and in a way that properly trains the dog(pulling, reactivity, ect) and in the best needs of your pets!

I would like to know why kind of personality the dog has. Such as if they are friendly right off the bat with anyone and everyone. Or if they are more timid. Also if they get tired out easy or are more on the athletic side so I can know when and where to walk your dog. Also would love to know if your dog is a reactive dog, and what they react too. And anything you are working on training wise with them.
A typical day
I love walking dogs because I love walking. You get to be outside enjoying the breeze and the nature. It’s important to enjoy the walk because the dog needs to enjoy it! If you’re not enjoying it you’re not doing your best to make sure the dog is happy. That’s why I would take your dog to parks that have nice walks through nature and parks, and that are safe as well. It’s good to have that kind of exercise for your pup! If you're open to dog parks, I can take your dog there as well.

I am available everyday except Sunday. On Wednesdays I am unavailable past 4Pm I am open to early morning drop ins or walks as well. If you'd like a drop in, but are not specific about time just let me know and we can work it out!
