Pet care experience
Hi! My name is Alexe and I absolutely love animals. I have worked with animals big and small, from raising orphaned rhinos and elephants to fostering cats and dogs. I have years of experience in working with animals and wildlife. I am very comfortable caring for all animals including reactive or shy ones, and am knowledgeable in administering shots and medications. I am able to stay calm and act quickly under pressure thanks to over 20 years of working with horses and caring for plenty of differently tempered pets. I will take care of your pet like they're my own and do everything I can to make the experience as enjoyable as possible for both you and your fur baby! :)

I left my 14-year-old dog and 2 cats with Alexe for a week and I couldn't be happier with how everything went. My dog is on a lot of medication, needs shots, and is an incredibly picky eater in her old age. Alexe handled it all and even went out to buy different foods to try to get her to eat something My dog also has some back/hip issues, has trouble walking, and is in the early stages of dementia and Alexe was able to handle everything. She followed all of my instructions for each of my pets and made sure that they were all happy, healthy, and comfortable. I'm so glad that I found someone that was able to really care for my pets and that I trust to stay with them in my home. Thank you again.
Alexe was amazing with my big guy! Highly recommend. She stayed over at my apartment for a few days and my dog was completely comfortable with her. My dog looks intimidating and scares off a lot of people, but Alexe was calm and did well with him. Will definitely hire her again!

No pet or schedule is too high maintenance, I understand the need to be thorough and comprehensive in order to keep your pet happy and your worries at bay. I love doing all kinds of activities with dogs, such as walking or playing fetch, hiding treats and playing sniff and search games, and providing toys designed specifically for enrichment. Whether your dog (or cat) prefers physical or mental stimulation or both, I am prepared to provide activities tailored to their likes and needs.
