Pet care experience
Hi there! I’m Alex and I’m 32 years old and I have been training and had animals since I was little. I’ve been training therapy and service dogs for about 10years and obedience for 11 years or so. I specialize in rehab of rescues and dogs that have been through abuse or trauma. No dog is a lost cause, it’s whether you’re willing to put in the work. My dog is a rescue herself, and her history before I got her is still very ambiguous.I only know she was a stray in Stockton. My dog right before her ( RIP) was my inspiration for working with dogs. His soul was so beautiful. When I first got him he had a fear of almost everything. He was fear aggressive with everyone especially men. He didn’t know what grass was because he came from the streets of San Leandro. He was a therapy and service dog and lead a life of helping others, and that’s something I want to continue on in his honor. My dog is a 88 lb XL Bully/ Red Heeler Cattle Dog. My dog loves other animals and loves meeting new people and dogs. I love all animals and have a special place for dogs. I’ve love to meet some new doggy friends and be of service however you need me. I can drop in, train or dog walk, whatever you need. I love animals and want to immerse myself in the awesomeness that is dogs and pets. She loves fetch and she LOVES everybody, both humans and dogs. She loves children and wants to say hi to everyone on our walks. She wants to make new doggy friends! If I end up working with you a review is greatly appreciated.

Alex is amazing! I have a huge boxer with lots of energy! He remembered her from a local place and was in heaven! I cannot wait until we begin to train with her! ?? She is very patient and quiet, and her confidence helps me to feel that Dax is safe with her! I highly recommend Alex!
You cannot put a price on the value of trusting your fur babies with someone! For me Alex is that person! Once again Alex to the rescue. Last minute ask to walk both my boys today for a hour and she was super accommodating! She’s so good with them. Her even keel temperament is so amazing to watch in action with these two 100lb beasts (loveable, but still beasts!). Tank and Gunny thank you Alex!
Alex was amazing! Her calm and confident demeanor, set the tone for how my dogs reacted. I have two big German shepherds, one who can be stand-offish until he warms up to you. She knew exactly how to be around and with him so there was no unnecessary anxiety. She has deep knowledge when it comes to handling dogs and I will continue to employ her services!
Hi, I’m JaeLah Williams, I’ve worked at Petsmart as a Pets Hotel Lead for over a year and I’m happy to recommend Alex for this position at Rover. I believe she is amazing for this job because she is good with animals, very responsible when it comes to meeting set dates and appointments, and I trust her enough to handle my own personal dogs. Seeing how Alex handles the dogs she works with at Petsmart is something I really admire. She’s very confident and well experienced in handling different breeds of animals with different temperaments and needs. I’m always able to see the difference in the pets from when they first see Alex to when she’s being training them. Alex is always on time and meets the requirements that are needed from her. She’s very responsible when it comes to the pets as well as the owners. She very good at communicating with the pet parents. Seeing how she handles the dogs at work to seeing how she handles her own pets is something I am going to learn from her for for my own pets. She’s been very patient with me like how she is with her other pet parents. Learning from her is a great experience. Because of the above I recommend a position at Rover for Alex. She’s a wonderful individual to work with. She is very patient and her experience takes her to the next level. Her love for dogs to her patience with the pet parents makes her great at her job.

Information Alex P. would like to know about your pet
If your dog has special needs or any medical “quirks” I should be aware of. Then obviously if aggression is a concern I would like to be made aware of that.
A typical day
Brain games, “touch”, I love going to regional parks for walks. Even doing obedience and leash etiquette walking around town. I love dogs so I’m never picky on how I hang out with them.
